Improvisation & Composition Camp

Program Overview


In July 2025, Professor Steve Hunt, piano faculty member at Berklee College of Music, will host an Improvisation & Composition Camp, intensive masterclasses, and music seminars across Asia. The first stop in China will be Beijing, offering aspiring musicians international collaboration opportunities and potential global music releases. Participants will also have a chance to perform alongside Professor Hunt and, for full-attendance students who excel, receive a personal recommendation letter from him.

  • Dates: July 18–20, 2025

  • Location: Beijing, China

  • Price: Regular ¥12,800 / Early Bird ¥9,980

  • Class Size: 30 students max

  • Target Group:
    Professional students, musicians, music educators, aspiring international music students, and all those passionate about Western music and songwriting.

  • Course Structure: 12 professional classes

  • Early Bird Bonus: Register by May 31 to receive discounted pricing.

  • Program Highlight: Each student will complete and present an original composition or musical work by the end of the camp.
